The Answer?

The short answer is yes, but they arenโt everything or one quick fix. You should still include free weights such as free weights as part of your workout, but hereโs how they do help:
Multi Gym Features
The features that they offer mean you can work almost every major muscle group in your body in a way thatโs safer and more controlled than free weights, usually with a much heavier weight too. Thatโs great for muscle growth and overloading the larger muscles.
(Remember, you wonโt necessarily be using the same amount of weights for each muscle group. Always aim for between 8-12 reps for each exercise. If you can get to 12 comfortably and you canโt feel the pressure on your muscles, increase the weight.)

Safety
Because all of the exercises are machine-based rather than free weight, multi gym exercises are much safer than free weight. If youโre really looking into how good multi-gyms are, your safety is definitely a big seller. You canโt injure yourself like you can with other equipment or exercises, and that alone is a huge plus, even more so for newcomers or people trying to overload muscles with bigger weights.
Versatility
Another key aspect of how good multi-gyms can be for your home gym is how versatile they are. Itโs incredibly difficult to get a piece of home gym equipment that works each muscle group effectively, but thatโs exactly what a multi gym is designed for. Itโs a one-stop-shop for every muscle group, and thatโs a unicorn of equipment alone (impossibly rare)

Weight
Finally, when looking at how good multi-gyms are specifically for building muscle, we have the weight capabilities that they have. Not only are they safe to use at home, they still have a huge weight stack too. That means they can help you through your whole muscle-building journey. You wonโt need to keep upgrading as you do with free weights!
Ultimately, multi gyms mean big exercises with big weights at almost no risk. As far as muscle building goes, itโs pretty ideal. Itโs always better to get variation in your workouts, so free weights definitely arenโt something to write off. as far as exercising from home goes; however, these are the kings.

Note
As with any fitness goal, you need to have regular weight training workouts in order to see noticeable results, but donโt forget rest days. Itโs important that your muscles repair in between sessions. This will prevent any injuries.
