Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

If you are a consumer then for most products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail in our Terms of Purchase.

If you wish to make a return and end your contract with us, please let us know by doing one of the following:

(a)  Phone or email. Call customer services on 01482 212 098 or email us at Please provide your name, home address and postcode, details of the order (including order number which should begin with 0000) and, where available, your phone number and email address.

(b)  Online. Complete the Pure-Tec customer services form or complete and send the Return Request Form detailed in our Terms of Purchase.

Returning Products

All returns are paid by you (The Customer), and the item must be in it’s original packaging (in a resellable condition) and we require the items to be returned within 14 working days of the return request date. Any return requests placed after the 14-day cooling period can be refused or may be subject to an additional admin charge for processing the return request which has been submitted. We do not provide an installation service, so if you have used a 3rd party installation service, you will not be eligible for the installation refund.

If you end the contract for any reason after products have been dispatched to you or you have received them, you must return them to us. You must either return the goods in person to where you bought them, post them back to us at Pure-Tec Limited, Britannia Road, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, DN14 6ET or (if they are not suitable for posting) allow us to collect them from you. Please call customer services on 01482 212 098 or email us at for a return label or to arrange collection. If you are a consumer exercising your right to change your mind you must send off the goods within 14 days of telling us you wish to end the contract and we recommend keeping evidence that you sent the goods back, as well as evidence of their condition before you passed them to your courier for return to us (in case your courier damages the goods in transit whilst you are still responsible to us for those goods).

If you are responsible for the costs of return and we are collecting the product from you, we will charge you the direct cost of collection; see

Please see section 9.3 of our Terms of Purchase for instances where we will pay for the cost of returns. If you are entitled to a refund under these terms we will refund you the price you paid for the products, including delivery costs, by the method you used for payment. However, we may make deductions from the price, as described in section 9.6 of our Terms of Purchase.

Gift Cards

Customers are provided with the right to cancel an order within a period of 14 days under Consumer Protection Regulations 2013. That 14 day period begins the day after the day goods are received. Customers may not return Gift Cards that have been fully or partially used before the end of the relevant 14 day period. Customers must cancel an order in writing, either by letter or email, within the 14 day period. In this event, the gift card code will be deactivated to prevent use.

On deactivation of the gift card, in accordance with these terms and conditions, the total amount of the order shall be refunded.

Refunds are made within a maximum period of thirty (30) days from the date the right of withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with these terms and conditions, provided goods are returned/deactivated/unused as required under these terms and the Consumer Protection Regulations 2013.  Any Gift Card that is damaged or missing credit will not be refunded or exchanged. EXERCISE won’t refund by cash.

In the case of your gift card not being received via email, please check all areas of your emails, including spam/junk folders. If the Gift Card recipient hasn’t received the link by email, the Customer can download it again from his/her online EXERCISE account under “My Cards “and resend it to the recipient’s email address.

If it still is not received, please contact us via the email address you used to place the order, and our team will see if we are able to provide you with the gift card. We cannot send copies of gift cards to any email address that isn’t on the order. In this event, we may be able to refund the gift card as long as we are contacted within 14 days of placing the order.

If you paid online using a gift card, we are not able to refund this amount back to your bank account. A new gift card will be automatically generated by our system and sent to you via email. Please note that if you paid an additional amount with your credit card or Paypal, this will automatically be refunded within 7 business days.

If you split your payment between gift card and another method (e.g. gift card and PayPal), you’ll be refunded by gift card first and any remainder will be refunded via the other method.
